Former Customer of Washington Mutual?

Chris Strand, MST, CPA/PFS | Bader Martin, PSNearly $10 million in bank deposits went unclaimed when Washington Mutual failed in 2008 and its active accounts were transferred to J.P. Morgan Chase.

Recently, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation transferred that money to the State of Washington.

The Washington State Department of Revenue is mailing claim forms to the last known addresses of those with more than $75 in unclaimed WaMu deposits. It also updated the state’s database of unclaimed property for former WaMu customers (businesses and individuals) with more than $25 in unclaimed deposits.
