Seattle, WA—April 20 , 2009—Chris Strand
, MST, CPA/PFS, has been awarded the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
The PFS credential, established by the AICPA in 1987, recognizes CPAs with professional expertise and experience in financial planning. Requirements include passing a technical exam and completing over 1,000 hours of related business experience. CPAs with the PFS credential must be re-certified every three years.
