Bader Martin Adopts Compressed Summer Workweek
Bader Martin will follow an alternative work schedule from mid-May through mid-August, working longer hours Monday through Thursday and generally taking Fridays off.

October 2006: Bader Martin earns United Way's Outstanding Employee Campaign Award for 2005 - 2006. The award recognizes companies with workplace giving campaigns that achieve exceptional results.

July 2006: Bader Martin earned a third-place award among accounting firms participating in the annual Puget Sound Food Frenzy competition to raise funds for Food Lifeline. Our firm was also recognized for achieving 100% employee participation.

Sharron O'Donnell Is Elected Vice Chair of the Washington State Board of Accountancy
2006: Sharron O'Donnell, CPA and Bader Martin senior manager, has been elected Vice Chair of the Washington State Board of Accountancy. Initially appointed to the Board by the Governor in 2002, Sharron has served on the Independence Committee and as Co-Chair of the Qualifications Committee. Her appointment extends through mid 2008. 

Bader Martin Welcomes New Shareholder, Bart Wilson
February 2006: Bart Wilson, MBA, CPA, joins Bader Martin as a shareholder in the firm's Accounting and Assurance Services practice. One of a select number of practicing CPAs in the region with extensive experience in both public practice and private industry, Bart will serve as Bader Martin's Director of Audit Services.  

Bader Martin Shareholder David Stiefel Earns PFS Credential from AICPA
December 2005: David Stiefel has been awarded the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential by the American Institute of CPAs. Requirements to earn the credential include passing a technical exam as well as demonstrating significant related experience. Currently, less than one percent of CPAs have earned this credential.

October 2005: Bader Martin announced a new name, logo and look. We've grown and evolved as a firm over the years, adding new services and developing as business advisors, so updating our image makes good sense.
